Wesley Brant Obituary
Wesley L. "Wes" Brant, a proud Navy veteran and devoted father, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Columbus. His family and friends will deeply miss him.
Wes was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Fostoria, and served in U.S. Navy for 20 years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. After retiring, he resided in San Diego, California, before returning to Columbus in 2015.
Wes will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, sense of duty, and love for his family. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of service.
He is survived by his son, Michael R Brant; wife, Deborah C Brant; sister, Ann Bayes; and brothers Barry Brant, Brian Brant, and Joseph Brant.
Wes was preceded in death by his parents, John Brant and Joan Brant; and sisters, Tracy Brant and Cindy Gregory.
Wes' presence touched the lives of family, friends, and comrades. May his spirit inspire us to face life's challenges with courage and perseverance.
All services were private. Military honors were performed by United Veterans of Fostoria Honor Guard.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
