My deepest condolences to you and your family. Grief is complicated but it means we were lucky enough to have loved someone and to have been loved by someone. It means that we had someone special, someone irreplaceable, who brought light into our world.

The beach will forever be different. May perpetual light shine upon Walker and may he rest in peace.

No words can express the sadness I feel for the loss of Walker. My fondest memory of him is on the beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina (slathered head to toe in sun screen). I'm sending my love and prayers to your beautiful family. Love, Robin

Walker, a kind and compassionate soul, was always there for me during my darkest moments. He was a beacon of friendship when I felt utterly alone. I sincerely hope that God surrounds his loved ones with comfort and peace.

When I hugged Walker´s dad, he said, "I wish he were here to hug you and congratulate you on a year of sobriety. He would have been proud of you." Those words brought me peace. Walker, you know I love you deeply, and you had a profound and lasting impact on my life. I am so grateful to have known you in this lifetime. Until we meet again.

I met Walker 10 years ago. First time I saw him he was traipsing across the front of my lawn up to the front door to pick my daughter Lindsay up for Homecoming. He was endearing with a big smile and bit shy at the time. Linsday and Walker remained close over the years. Two years ago he helped paint our stairwell and was always willing and eager to assist. I recall a time when he was feeling down and to help cheer him up, Linds and I went to Taco Bell (one of his Favs) late at night and surprised him with a bag of tacos. He came out of his house with thankful tears and a big hug.
His last text to me was "Let me know if I can help". That sums up Walker. We are bereft by his passing and pray his family and many friends keep Walker's memory alive by doing more for others in his spirit. To the Damon family, your loss is profound and I pray you follow the light in this dark time. Walker, may you now feel the love of everyone who knew you, sweet soul. You have left a void.

My deepest condolences to the family of Walker. I am Dalthan Major, the husband of Angelia, and father of Alexis and Joshua. Walker was truly a remarkable young man. He was a great best friend to my son Joshua as well as another member of our family that we will truly miss. I pray that he finds peace as he rests to be with our father in heaven. To the family, may God give you peace, serenity,and strength to deal with such a loss.

Like my Brother Jack shared, Walker was a special soul. Our memories of beach fun,finding "creative" ways to eat asparagus (rolling it into a small ball to avoid eating it whole), watching Laybrinth and Clue and just making memories on walks to Donell pond. Your family will always hold such a large part of my heart. He will be missed deeply and I send you all my deepest condolences and love

My brother from another, Walker Texas Ranger! a great spirit and a blast to be around. I remember hitting the bars in atlanta, hiking the bamboo forest and sitting in my car talking about life. We will miss you.

Walker was not just a friend; he was truly my brother. We met in welding school at Hobart, though he lived above me in my triplex for about seven months before I even realized he existed. Our connection was instant and profound. After I faced legal troubles that set me back in my class, fate brought me into Walker's class where we became inseparable.

During those early days, I had lost my car, so I rode with Walker. We created countless memories together, and I´m grateful for the videos and pictures I captured-something I don´t usually do, but our moments were too precious to forget. We graduated together, moved to Indiana, and shared an apartment and jobs, forging a bond that was truly special.

Walker's life was remarkable, marked by a vibrant spirit that you don´t encounter often-he inspired stories that could fill a movie. Unfortunately, I was later forced to leave our apartment to handle legal matters in Georgia, which created some distance between us. Yet, we remained in contact over the years. Walker would visit, and I would go to see him, and despite the miles, we continued to create beautiful memories together.

Knowing Walker was a deeply spiritual experience for me. Every conversation was filled with love, as he often expressed how much I meant to him and vice versa. I have never had a friend like Walker; my heart is truly broken by his passing. I will miss him dearly in this life and beyond. Walker, you can never be replaced. I love you.

You guys may not know me, my name is Alexis, daughter of Angelia and Joshua´s sister, but your son Walker was a genuine soul. He´s my brother, Joshua´s best friend and he was like my mom´s son. Our family loved him dearly and for my first time meeting him when we came to our house he was sweet, kind, and funny. I´m glad I was able to meet him and see the kind of light he brings. I´m sending my greatest condolences and I pray you guys get through this. Thank you for sharing your son as he has left a mark on everyone he´s met, he will be greatly missed.

Words can't begin to express how devastating and shocking it is to lose Walker. He was sweet, lovable, kind, generous, and hell of funny. His memory will live within those who loved him.

Walker was one of my best friends in childhood. When he and his sister Catherine played with me, and my sister Lauren, I felt a spirit of creativity, fantasy, and love, the memory of which remains warm in my mind. Though I have not spoken to Walker or the Damons in years, I am tremendously sorry for their suffering, and I will quietly thank Walker, his parents, and his sister for the time we had together.

My heart has been aching for you since you left. Love you endlessly.

I´m deeply saddened to hear of Walker's passing. He was such an inquisitive and kind young man. My thoughts and love go out to his family during this difficult time, as well as his many friends and acquaintances who were impacted by his charm.

No words can suffice for the loss of such a kind hearted soul. I´ve been blessed to know Walker since we were kids. I remember going on school trips, sharing a seat everyday on the bus, joking about who knows what, and so much more. I always knew that no matter how the day went, he would pick me up at the end of it because that´s the kind of person he was. When I think of him I still see that happy, silly kid I was lucky to know. He will forever be apart of some of my most cherished memories from childhood. My heart and thoughts are with his loved ones, and my deepest condolences.

I’ve known Walker and his family since preschool. Growing up with Walker he was always goofy, lighthearted, kind, and welcoming. I hope that him and his family will eventually find peace and pick themselves up out of this dark time. He will forever be someone I think of in warm memory.

My heart breaks for the Damon family. I had Walker´s dad as a teacher for several years in high school, and knew Walker for a short time during that. I have many friends who were close with him. He was always smiling and lifting others up every time I saw him. It´s heartbreaking to lose a fellow classmate and friend. Rest in Peace Walker, and I hope the Damon family can recover and heal with time.

Walker was such a great friend to me in so many ways! His energy was always so bright and he brought a lot of laughter into many lives. I'm grateful for our friendship, as he was there for me in a lot of tough situations. He will be missed! Sending all of the love and prayers to the Damon family.

Walker was there for me in high school i was bullied at my previous one and i moved my senior year walker was my first friend he took me under his wing and ill always remember the peace he brought in my life

He knew how to make people smile, feel seen and loved. He and i´s encounters were brief yet deeply profound, as if days turned to years when I was with him. As if he was able to make time stand still. His inner child fueled mine, healed me in unseen ways. We used to write each other love letters, sneak out of our houses at night to meet one another, crawl through each others windows, long board hills together. I felt like I knew you from lifetimes before a timeless soul, He was a chapter in my life I´ll never forget. Rest in Peace sweet one.

I will always be so grateful for our friendship, every memory I have from middle school and high school have Walker in them. We never really talked in school, but he always made me laugh whenever we did, he was a good dude. Very kind hearted and a great person, super smart too. I even had his dad as a teacher. He will be forever missed.
