I worked with Tom at the fire department and on the carpentry job. He taught me how to stay calm when the world was on fire and encouraged me to get my education. I never saw Tom rattled by anything. He was a great friend and mentor. He didn’t have a lot to say, but when Tom talked everyone listened. Gena and I are praying for you and your family Ms. Dixie.
