Thomas Lee Obituary

Thomas Dean Lee

Thomas Dean Lee, 85, of Findlay, passed away at his residence Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was born June 10, 1940, in Wayne, the son of the late Estel and Jean (Householder) Lee. On October 5, 1963, he married Carol (Matzinger) Lee, who survives in Findlay.

Survivors also include his daughters, Joann Lee, and Karen (Floyd II) Bailey, both of Findlay; grandchildren, Lauren (Andrew) Heller and Owen Bailey; and great-grandchildren, Oliver and Archer Heller.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Harold, Merle, Ronald, and Dwight Lee; and a sister, Diane Brotherton.

Thomas was employed at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria for 30 years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Findlay. He enjoyed golf, dartball, Detroit Lions and Tigers, as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his family.

Visitation for Thomas will be from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor William Stenke officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, East of Findlay.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to the church or American Heart Association.
