Theodore Chernak Obituary

Theodore N Chernak, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, August 31st, 2025, at the age of 92. He is survived by his cherished companion, Linda Rose Barron; his loving children, Jon (Nancy) Chernak, Dr. Jeffrey Chernak (fiancee Sharon Blatt), Debi Chernak, and Wendy (David) Hefter; his dear sister, Marlene (Late Dr. Irvin P.) Pollack; his adoring grandchildren, Dr. Linda (Dr. Cliff) Meyers, Dr. Laura (Dr. Josh) Slane, Dr. Brian (Dr. Sajni) Chernak, Stephanie Hefter, Amy (Zev) Wiesen, Daniel Hefter (fiancee Orly Olbum), and Rebecca (Elliot) Levy, Jay Chernak, Michael Chernak; and his treasured great-grandchildren, Julia and William Meyers, Henry and James Slane, Mark and Daisy Wiesen and Leo Levy. He was predeceased by his lifelong best friend, Jay Blumenthal; his loving parents, Helen and Sidney Chernak; and his former wife, Judy Chernak.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, September 1st, 2025, at 2:30pm. Interment Beth Tfiloh Cemetery. Please omit flowers. The family will be in mourning at 7934 Winterset Ave., Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday following the interment with an evening service at 7pm, and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1pm until 4pm, and continuing at 7pm until 9pm with services at 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
