Tamara L. Wilkes

Tamara Lee Wilkes, 61, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023.

She was born April 3, 1962 in Warren, Ohio to Phillip and Lucy (Boyles) Benfield Sr. She married James Wilkes on Oct. 13, 2001.

Tamara was involved in the Lupus Foundation. She liked going on cruises with her family, reading cruise blogs, and watching reruns on ROKU.

Those left behind to cherish Tamara's memory are her mother and stepfather, Lucy and James Dempsey; husband, James Wilkes; son, Joseph Wilkes; brother, Phillip Benfield Jr.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ohio and North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Carl and Corine Boyles and Waits and Rachel Benfield; and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation for friends and family will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Tamara's funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 Co. Rd. 236, Findlay, with Pastor Ben Jennings presiding.

Memorial contributions in Tamara's name can be made to Trinity Baptist Church Mission Fund.
