Susan L. Nichols

Susan "Sue" Cramer Nichols, 82, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born Nov. 14, 1941, in Findlay, the daughter of Clyde and Martha Cramer. Sue was a 1960 graduate of Findlay High School. She married Robert Nichols, her husband of 63 years, on Feb. 11, 1961, and he survives.

Sue loved to read and with her Altrusa Club, helped start a lending library at 50 North. Her love of books also led her to work at Ben Franklin and Lincoln Schools as a librarian where she enjoyed sharing this love with children.

Susan is also survived by her son, Scott (Jen) Nichols; grandchildren, Nicole (Justin) Bryson, Kelsey (Brennan McMillen) Hartzell, and Nate Nichols, whom she dearly loved; great-grandchildren she was an amazing great-grandmother to, Jack and Ellie Bryson; and brother, Tom (Marsha) Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Hartzell (Rick Kloeppel); and sister, Carole Molder.

Sue's celebration of life will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500.

Memorial contributions in Sue's name may be made to Altrusa Club, 733 Third St., Findlay, Ohio, 45840.
