Shaun Spearman Obituary
Shaun Raymond Spearman, 55, of Dunkirk, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born May 1, 1969, in Lima to the late Jack Spearman and Kay (Carey) Spearman of Dunkirk.
In 1993, Shaun married his childhood sweetheart and soulmate, Andrea Thomas, and together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. They were blessed with two children, Taylor (Brandon) Bohn and Colton (Rachel Sizer) Spearman, as well as two grandchildren, Olivia and Evan Bohn-each reflecting parts of his spirit and presence.
Also surviving are his brothers, Devin (Mary) Spearman and Jadon (Erin) Spearman; his sisters, Shanda (Jody) Dye and Tanille (Keith) Crooks; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew; and his loyal fur babies, Mack and Dottie.
Shaun lived life in the fast lane, always chasing the next adventure. He was full of ideas and never afraid to try something new-whether it was building his family's home, restoring an '87 Camaro, flipping hot dogs for his Disco Dogs Food Truck, craft shows with his daughter, or printing clothing for his community. Whatever he did, he did it with passion and drive-traits his family will always be proud of and cherish.
While Shaun wore many hats in life, his most cherished were father, husband, brother, friend, and, above all, Papa. He found his greatest happiness in the company of those he loved most and shared everything he enjoyed with them by his side-camping, boating, golf cart riding with his best boy, Mack, late-night poker games, Sunday Fundays filled with football and sports betting with his son, getting into mischief with his siblings and blasting '80s rock bands in the garage.
God did give Rock and Roll to us, but he also gave us Shaun-and that was an even greater gift. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. Bubbles up!
A Celebration of Shaun's Life will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Ada VFW, 2147 SR 235, Ada at 6 p.m. A time of gathering and sharing will be from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorials can be directed to the family.
