Sharon Elizabeth Dailey

Sharon Dailey, 75, of Findlay, passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

She was born Jan. 23, 1948, in Dayton, to Paul L. and Margaret E. (Overholt) McArthur.

Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Findlay High School where she played clarinet in band and was a gifted accompanist. After high school, Sharon worked briefly for Marathon Petroleum and later at Whirlpool. She married her first husband, Thomas Wiggins Sr. in 1967. While working at Whirlpool, Sharon met her second husband, Dan Dailey, they were married April 23, 2001, and he survives. She wore many hats during her time at Whirlpool, serving as an administrative assistant, working in human resources, the warehouse, and managing the tool crib.

Sharon is remembered by many for her tenacity, sometimes stubborn, but beautifully supportive and loving personality. Sharon worked hard her entire life and was always generous with her time and assistance to others. She was fun loving and loved to bowl and play golf. Sharon was also a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Reds.

Sharon is also survived by her son, Thomas Wiggins Jr.; sisters, Patricia (Tim) Crossan, Joyce (Tom) Kirchner, and Debra (Robert) Smith; stepchildren, Jason (Donna) Dailey, Joel (Darci) Dailey, and Mike (Nicole) Dailey; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Paula A. Strickler.

At Sharon's request, no visitation or services will take place at this time.

COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, has been entrusted with her care.
