Scott Bauer Obituary
Scott Bauer, 59, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was born Sept. 2, 1963, in Clare, Michigan, to the late Jack and Iva Lou (Grove) Bauer.
Scott is survived his son, Seth (Mia) Bauer of Findlay; sister, Becky Bauer of Haslett, Michigan; and grandchildren, Evy and Luna.
Scott worked as an analyst for Marathon Petroleum Company in Findlay. He received his Bachelors of Computer Science from DeVry University. Scott served on the Board of YMCA in Findlay and enjoyed playing racquet ball. Scott was an avid Michigan Wolverines, and Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings fan.
Scott also enjoyed traveling to Alaska and to his home in Florida, where he enjoyed relaxing by the beach. Most of all, Scott's main priority in life was his family. He was a dedicated father, making sure he was always at his son Seth's sporting events, spending time with his sister throughout their travels together, and being around his two grandchildren, whom he adored and loved dearly.
Visitation for Scott will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, until the time of his celebration of life service at 4 p.m. at Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Scott's celebration of life service will be live-streamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home Findlay & McComb Facebook page. Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott's honor to Colorectal Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave NW Suite 1066, Washington, D.C., 20005.
