Russell Kuipers Obituary

Russell W. Kuipers, age 91, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Beloved husband of Pamela Kuipers, nee VanDerNoord. Loving father of MaryAnn (Larry) Saxton, Lee (Dorothy) Kuipers, Robin (Jim) Robbins, Peter (Kathy) Kieft, Michael (Julie) Kieft, late Rhonda (David) Wickerham, late Robert Kieft, and the late Gary Kieft. Devoted grandpa of Amy (J.T.) Vette, Jason Rubin, Rachel Rubin, Kevin (Misty) Rubin, Jennifer Kuipers, Steven Mulder, Shawnna (Curtis) Russell, late Justin Mulder, Noah Kieft, Caleb Kieft, Matthew (Allie) Wickerham, Julia (Dave) Mullen, and Emily Wickerham. Blessed great-grandpa of 21 and great-great grandpa of 9. Dear brother of Ruth Ann (late Everest) Czysczon, late Grace Mae (Eenigenburg) DeVries, Pearl (Earl) Welch, late William (Hilda) Kuipers, James (Jean) Kuipers, Donald (Dorthy) Kuipers, Andrew (Edna) Kuipers, and late Bartlett (Cornelia) Kuipers. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his cherished parents Andrew and Anna Kuipers.

Russ worked 35 years and retired 35 years ago from Lever Brothers in Whiting, Indiana. He was so dearly loved and will be sadly missed.

Visitation Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Church 3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL with Rev. Dan Bloesch officiating. Interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery—Lansing, IL.
