Rosalyn V. Loetz

Rosalyn V. Loetz, 88, of Jenera, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born January 28, 1938, on the family farm in Jenera to the late Ira and Lulu (Redick) Gossman. Rosalyn was a 1956 graduate of Arlington High School, where she developed many lifelong bonds with many of her classmates. She married Carl W. Loetz, May 1, 1966, and he preceded her in death April 8, 2019. Surviving are two sons, Brad (Tracy) Loetz of Powell, and Wes (Patricia) Loetz of Longmont, Colorado; her five grandchildren, Evan Loetz, Austin Loetz, Josephine (Alex Merrill) Loetz, Julie (Leonard) Torres, and Ethan Loetz; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Leila Gossman of Arlington and brother-in-law, Ken Redd of Pandora.

Mrs. Loetz was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon Gossman and Eddie (Norma) Gossman and sister, Yvonne Redd.

She worked at Marathon Oil Company and Key Bank in addition to staying home to raise her two sons. Rosalyn was a lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. Rosalyn was very close to her entire family and, in her later years, served as a caregiver to several family members.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2026, at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, where family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to service. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Rosalyn to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association.
