Rosalind G. Ellerbrock

Rosalind G. Ellerbrock, 85, of Miller City, died at 9:16 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, surrounded by family.

She was born March 5, 1937, in Oakwood, to the late Bernard and Margaret (Dietrick) Carpenter. She married Donald Ellerbrock on Oct. 10, 1959, and he preceded her in death Sept. 23, 2022.

Rosalind's survivors include seven children, Steve (Linda Cox) Ellerbrock, Shari (Terry) Maas, both of Ottawa, Dave (Ruth) Ellerbrock of Miller City, Rob Ellerbrock of Hamler, Julie (Tony) Roth of Waterford, Michigan, Brian (Carrie) Ellerbrock of Leipsic, and Lynn Ellerbrock of Santa Rosa, California; 24 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Ellerbrock.

Rosalind was a homemaker and taught at Glandorf Elementary. She was great at knitting, enjoyed reading a good book, and loved cooking for her family and friends. Rosalind was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
