One of my early mentors and a dear friend Ronald Lee Myers passed away late yesterday after a long battle with cancer that defied the odds. To say he had an influence in the lives of many vastly understates the lives he changed through his influence.

Some of the lessons I credit him with:
- be a dream maker
- don´t wait for change, be the change
- we all have potential, sometimes it just takes a little longer to be realized
- slow down and enjoy the journey
- a story told can be powerful, but a story lived and told provides powerful lessons
- a legacy outlives the life of one who created it
- you never know how many people you influence, so choose the type of influence you have wisely.

There are more but these are the ones that stand out the most.

I hope you knew in your final days how loved you were by so many. We are different because of you and now carry on the torch of your legacy.

See you again someday Dragonfly.

Where do l start. Ron (Mumbles) to some of us back in the day (and to me at present),has been a friend for over 50 years. Lost track for some time, but we were blessed he came back in our life the last couple of years! He touched so many lives in his 67 years and all lives he touched were very privileged to have crossed his path!He had a very unique deep soul, was very thoughtful, generous and expressed much kindness. He would throw a positive spin on life! He was a huge part of our family and considered a member! I am very thankful, grateful and fortunate that he was my friend! He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. I will miss our talks almost every day!He will always be in our hearts! Love you my friend! Jim (Harry) Tavernier.
