Ronald E. Baney

Ronald E. Baney, 84, of North Baltimore, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born January 8, 1941, to the late Harold E. and Helen L. (McFarland) Baney in Findlay. He married Rosie (Hoffman) in 1988, and she preceded him in death March 27, 2019.

Ron is survived by his three children, Jeffery (Sylvia) Baney, Tadd (Kimberly) Baney, and Heath (Amber) Baney; his loving companion, Patricia Ricketts; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rick Hoffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosie; sister, Denise Hoffman; and a grandson, Bryce Baney.

Ron graduated from Findlay High School in 1959. He worked for Cooper Tire and Rubber as a tire builder and retired after 36 years of service. He enjoyed collecting classic cars, especially Corvettes, and riding motorcycles. He loved to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Visitation for Ron will be from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 South Park Dr, McComb, Ohio, 45858. Burial will follow at McComb Union Cemetery. Those in attendance are asked to dress comfortably and to wear their favorite Ohio State gear.
