Robert "Bob" Fenstermaker

Robert "Bob" Fenstermaker, 76, of Rawson, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on March 20, 1947 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Francis "Kack" and Carol (Inbody) Fenstermaker. He married the love of his life Joann Doty on May 1, 1966 in the Hoytville United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on November 26, 2022. Robert is survived by his children: Randy (Brenda) Fenstermaker, Marsha (John) Desgranges, and Mark (Angie) Fenstermaker; grandchildren: Becky (Phil) Curtis, Jake (Shanna) Fenstermaker, Macen (Brooke) Desgranges, Britta Dawn Fenstermaker, Kylee Dawn (Ryan) Cates, Dana Desgranges, Elise Dawn Fenstermaker and Parker Fenstermaker; great-grandchildren: Boden, Ashton, Chelsea, Erin, Braxton, MaKenna, Leroy, Wyatt, Oaklynn Dawn, Emersyn, Sydney and brothers: Ronald and Richard Fenstermaker. He was preceded in death by his daughter Dawn in 1985 and his sisters-in-law JoFran and Linda Fenstermaker

Robert was a 1965 graduate of Pandora Gilboa High School and retired from Ball Metal in Findlay. Robert was a faithful member of the Bethel Church of Christ in Ada, where he served as a Deacon. Robert had a strong belief in God. When he came in contact with individuals, he always made it a point to ask them "Have you seen God today?" Bob also attended his weekly Men's Prayer Breakfast at Arby's in Bluffton, where he would fellowship with his close friends. Robert was also a farmer and strong-willed individual. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop and always keeping his yard immaculate, free of weeds, perfectly mowed lines and always green. Most of all, Robert loved his family. He cherished all the time the family gathered at the Fenstermaker Campground and Race Track or just spending time with grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 3:00-8:00 PM in the Bethel Church of Christ, 4014 Co Rd 304, Ada, Ohio 45810. Robert's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Bethel Church of Christ, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Benton Ridge Cemetery.
