Robert Daughenbaugh Obituary

Robert Oden Daughenbaugh

Robert Oden Daughenbaugh, 74, of Findlay and formerly of Tiffin, passed away at 11:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at his residence.

Robert was born Jan. 25, 1948, in Fostoria, to the late Cletus and Helen (Nye) Daughenbaugh. He married Paula (Lee) in Tiffin, they later divorced, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his children, Robin (Jan Richardson) Paulus of Tiffin, Robert (Deanna) Daughenbaugh of South Carolina, and Ryan (Aubrey) Daughenbaugh of Findlay; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles (Lynda) Daughenbaugh of Republic, Cletus (Connie) Daughenbaugh of Tiffin, Larry Daughenbaugh of Tiffin, and Ronald Daughenbaugh of Tiffin; and four sisters, Sharon Breese of Fostoria, Beverly (Jim) Myers of Clyde, and Rachel Kimble and Debra Daughenbaugh, both of Fostoria.

Robert worked as a press operator for Data Documents. He was an avid sports fan, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. Robert was a AA sponsor for 40 years and enjoyed spending time with his family. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to lend a helping hand.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Renea Daughenbaugh; brother, Raymond Daughenbaugh; and two sisters, Gloria Myers and Geraldine Lenz.

Robert's funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, with Brenda Brown officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial at Seneca Memory Gardens at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.

I had met & visited with Bobby about a dozen or 2 times, and he always treated me like he'd known me for years. It was so easy to talk to him about anything, and we did. Bobby was one of God's blessings put in my life and was an awesome human who won't be forgotton.

Use to bowl with Bob. We knew the whole family. A story on Bob. Him and I got a ride home from bowling alley.that was with Dale Drunkmiller. When he go out of truck he still had on Bowling Allley (red) shoes on. We laughed all the way home. Bob was alot of fun bowling with him.
