Rickie Long Obituary
Rickie C. Long, AKA Slick Rick, 62, of Findlay passed away Tuesday, June14, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
He was born March 21, 1960 to Anna A. (Coker) and Donald Russell.
Rickie joined church at a young age. He was a Fostoria High School graduate and went on to attend Terra Tech College, receiving an associate's degree in business management. He worked
for Mennel Milling and Findlay Industries. Rickie loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Green Bay Packers. He loved to D.J., sing karaoke, barbeque, ride his motorcycle and travel.
Surviving is his mother, Anna Marsenburg; children, Rosey (Aaron) Havlovitz, Rick James (Kim) Long, and Diamond(Katie) Long; grandchildren, Hunter, Emerson, Ashton, Ellianna, Mia, and Sevoa; siblings, Katherina (James) McDonald, Kathryn (Derick) Westbrook, Anita (James) Dillard, Tami White, Dena Cousin, Kenneth (Cora) Marsenburg, Sandy (Dale) Brown, and Keith Marsenburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends, to include special friends, Chris, Rhonda, and Scott.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James Coker and Rose Coker, paternal grandparents, Herman and Mildred Long, step-father, Rev. Kenneth Marsenburg, and aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria.
Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 12 noon, Rev. Charles White, officiating.
Rickie's family wishes to express gratitude to all the doctors and nurses of Blanchard Valley Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
