Penny Stevenson Obituary
Penny S. Stevenson, 55, of Bloomdale, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, in Fostoria.
She was born June 11, 1968, in Wood County, to Johnny Hartman Jr. and Susan Hartman. Penny married Howard Stevenson on April 13, 1990, in Findlay.
Penny is survived by her loving husband, Howard; children, Desiree (Cody Deal) Stevenson of Van Buren, Marc Stevenson of Forrest, and Devin (Lauren) Peach of Columbus; sister, Patti Smith of Cygnet; grandchildren, Selina and Grady; nieces and nephews, Dusty (Nick) Tolles, Sean Smith, Makayla Beckford, and Dylan Smith; mother, Susan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny; and nephew, Chance Kindle.
Penny was a 1986 graduate of Elmwood High School and earned an associate's degree as a Dental Assistant. She had a love for animals and her grandchildren and family were her life. They were her greatest love in life and she enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Visitation for friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne. Penny's celebration of life service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at the funeral home. Immediately following, a graveside service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay with a bereavement dinner and gathering to follow at Bloomdale Community Center.
