Peggy Latini Obituary
Peggy Sue Wentz Latini, 62, of Greer, South Carolina, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of Terry R. Latini for 42 precious years. Peggy was born in Findlay, the daughter of Bruce and Helen Wentz of Arlington, who preceded her in death.
Peggy is survived by her husband; son, Ross Latini; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Ryan Fisher; granddaughters, Lorelei and Lucy Fisher; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Craig Woodard; and brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Denise Ralph.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a very devoted and supportive presence in the lives of her extended family. She was very active in her church music ministry, enjoyed reading, and tending to her many flowers and plants.
Although her true passion was devotion to her family and enjoying time with them, she always made time to engage in the lives of friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
Her effervescent, ever-present, beautiful smile was the bright light that set her apart and drew everyone she knew into her world of love and happiness. Peggy's consistent joy and sweet spirit stemmed from her strong devotion to God, which overflowed in her caring love and concern for others. She was a ray of sunshine and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, South Carolina, 29607.
Peggy's funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at Morningside Baptist Church, 1115 Pelham Rd., Greenville, South Carolina, 29615, followed by a private committal at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina, 29609.
Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to her daughter and son-in-law's ministry in France (FabricQuai Community Center) by going to https://raisedonors.com/rtim/151770.
