Pauline Lucille Smith

Pauline Lucille Smith, 94, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at 4:44 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, with her family by her side.

She was born Nov. 28, 1928, to Wilmer and Harba (Brown) Cooper. She married John H. Smith on Sept. 3, 1949, and he preceded her in death May 6, 2018.

Pauline liked to crochet, spend time with her family, and do the daily cryptoquote in the newspaper. Pauline and John enjoyed camping at Kick Back Campground at Indian Lake. They would also spend the winters in Zephryhills, Florida. She retired from RCA/Harris.

She is survived by three daughters, Paula (Joe) Newell, Sharlene (Tom) Hunter, and Teresa (Gary) Patterson; grandchildren, Kevin Newell, Lisa Newell, Jenny (Mark) Wellington, Tony (Jenn) Siferd, Stephanie (Bill) Lynch, and Aaron Patterson; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred (Paul) Dickinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Daniel Newell; son-in-law, Marvin Siferd; granddaughter-in-law, Crystal Newell; and siblings Thomas, Donald, Thelma, Marie, and Mona.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the wonderful care provided by Bridge Hospice Care Center and Palliative Care, Findlay.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, until the time of Pauline's funeral at 3 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care Center or Palliative Care, Findlay.
