Paul Huff Obituary
Paul A. Huff, 97, of Fostoria, peacefully passed away Thursday, Sept.12, 2024, at Briar Hill Health Campus in North Baltimore.
He was born April 9, 1927, in Bloomdale, to Roy M. and Ethel V. (Geren) Huff. Paul was united in marriage on Aug. 18, 1949, to his true love, Georgia A. Carpenter. This union of 69 years was blessed with three children.
Paul attended Arcadia High School. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II. He was honorably discharged and returned home. Paul worked at Atlas Crankshaft and retired after 30 years of service.
Paul is survived by his children, Michael R. (Cindy) Huff of Tiffin and Sharon K. Benda of Angola, Indiana; six grandchildren, Amber (Steve) Morris, Kristy (Russ) Teegardin, Amanda Conley, Gregory Watkins, Megan (Dan) Rarick, and Joshua (Amy) Huff; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parent, Roy and Ethel, and his loving wife, Georgia, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Stephen J. Huff; grandson, Kory Conley; brother, Basil Huff; sisters, Naomi Reinhard and Ruth Brooks; and son-in-law, Alan Benda.
Friends and family may visit from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Paul's funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Russell Teegardin officiating. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren.
In Paul's honor, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at (www.stjude.org).
