Norman L. Dehnhoff

Our beloved Norman L. Dehnhoff, 94, of Findlay, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 1, 2026.

He was born March 21, 1931, at his home in Marion Township, Hancock County, Ohio, to the late Guy and Grace (Brown) Dehnhoff.

He married Anna L. (Christoff) Dehnhoff, June 25, 1950, at Arlington Methodist Church, Arlington.

He will be missed by his surviving children, Diane (Michael) Lessig, Arlington, Daniel (Kimberly) Dehnhoff, Findlay, Tim Dehnhoff, Baltimore, Maryland, and Sarah (Matthew) Rutter, Arcadia; and son-in-law, Dean Stevenson, Leipsic; eight grandchildren, Douglas (Peggy) Lessig, Greg Lessig, Sean (Kimberly) Stevenson, Christy (Erik) Alfsen, Cheri (Adam) Garton, Emily Adkins, Andrew (Kristen) Dehnhoff, and Caleb (Haley) Rutter; eight great-grandchildren, Denali, Haakon, Anniston Alfsen, Everly Stevenson, Gemma, Kahlon, Rylee Garton, Myles, and baby Rutter; two stepgreat-grandchildren, eight stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Norman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna (Christoff); lovely daughter, Linda Stevenson; and siblings, Ninabelle Bishop, Lola Woodward, and Dorthy Poole.

Norman graduated in 1949 from Arcadia Local School. Norman was a dairy farmer for many years and a former employee of Dow Chemical and Findlay Implement. He then retired from his position at Hancock County Landfill and continued his lifelong love of farming.

Norman attended First Assembly of God Church in Findlay, where he was a faithful servant of the Lord.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.- noon Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, where his funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
