Nathan M. Gillen

Nathan Matthew Gillen, of Findlay, entered eternal rest Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 46.

He was born September 19, 1978, in Findlay, to Phillip and Lynette (Farmer) Gillen.

Nathan was a member of Findlay American Legion Post 3. He cherished time with his children, grandchildren, family, and enjoyed days spent at the beach with his partner, Janelle, and their dogs. Nathan had a keen interest in history and was an avid gun enthusiast. He treasured time spent with Janelle and friends and was known for his pranks and joking sense of humor.

Nathan is survived by his mother, Sue; his four children, Shaynn A. Rigdon of Fayette, Jeremy Gillen of Tiffin, Kayla Gillen of Attica, and Xavier Gillen of Fostoria; five grandchildren; and his significant other, Janelle Barnhill of Findlay.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip E. Gillen.

No services are scheduled for Nathan. The family will be planning a celebration of life at Findlay American Legion Post 3 at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Nathan's family.

In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made to Findlay American Legion Post 3, 120 W. Front St., Findlay, OH 45840.
