Nancy Sparks Obituary
Nancy Sparks, 68, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at her home in Columbus Grove.
She was born Jan. 22, 1954, to David F. and Elaine (Vorst) Schroeder.
She married Jack Albright on Nov. 25, 1977, and he preceded her in death in 2005. She then married Keith Sparks in April, 2009, and he survives in Columbus Grove.
Nancy is also survived by her mother, Elaine Schroeder of Columbus Grove; two children, Thomas Albright and Chip Albright; grandchildren, Stella and Summit Albright; Keith's children, Heather (Dana) Koontz, and their children, Whitney, Kadin, and Kenzie, and a great-grandchild, Seth, and Tim (Sara) Sparks, and their children, Marie and Cheyenne; brothers, Nick (Joan) Schroeder, Omer Schroeder, and Dave (Beth) Schroeder; sister, Becky (Jim) Shaw; sister-in-law, Shelly Schroeder; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Schroeder; brother, Max Schroeder; and sister-in-law, Diane Schroeder.
Nancy was second in her 1972 graduating class of Columbus Grove High School. She was an employee with Van Wert County Juvenile Courts for over 40 years. Nancy was an avid early history buff and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Nancy adored her grandkids and spending time with them. She was the queen of endless hours of facetime calls and family holiday parties. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at American Legion, Columbus Grove. Weber Funeral, Delphos, assisted family with Nancy's arrangements.

What a sad loss not only for those close to her but the whole community. Her career choice was for the right reasons. She really did care for the youth she was in charge of and truly made a difference. What an amazing woman.
