Nancy Gasparini Obituary

Nancy J. (Watkins) Gasparini, 76, of Monroeville, IN, passed away on February 5, 2026, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne where she was a resident. Mrs. Gasparini retired as Director of Independent Living Services for The League for the Blind and Disabled in Fort Wayne and was a consummate care giver. She enjoyed taking yearly trips, knitting, playing with her grandkids and being surrounded by family. Nancy also was a volunteer for Junior Achievement and helped at Cornerstone Youth Center where she served on the board.

Nancy J. Gasparini was born on March 9, 1949, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Earl and A. Regina (Sibert) Watkins. She married Paul Gasparini, Sr., on April 3, 2005, in Fort Wayne and he survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are one son, Chad (Tracey) Frederickson, of New Haven; one daughter, Anette Gasparini, of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a sister, Twilo (Chuck) Kegler, of Dublin, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Paul Gasparini, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne. Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Private interment will take place later in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are requested to League for the Blind and Disabled, 5821 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816
