Michelle Lynn Thompson

Michelle Lynn Thompson (Wiseman) of Findlay, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at home after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Cancer is a thief of time and took her before any child is ready to lose their mother. She enjoyed arranging planters and flowers, shopping for the best bargain, a good market fresh sandwich, and spending time with her kids, granddaughter, and beloved weenie dogs.

Michelle was born Nov. 20, 1963, to the late Orris "Glen" and Patricia (Mercer) Wiseman. She was the youngest of three children and was preceded in death by her brother, Brett Wiseman.

She is survived by her children, Kayla, Rachael, and Glen; only granddaughter, Payton August ("P"); and former spouse, Thomas Thompson, who despite their differences were able to redefine the love they had for one another.

Michelle found God and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and is rejoicing in a life everlasting. Michelle touched the hearts of many of the people she knew, always willing to give anything to anybody, if she could help she was. Her absence will impact the lives of many. Michelle would have only asked that her children be well cared for and loved.

Michelle's funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with Pastor Jake Huber officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
