Michael Skaggs Obituary
Carson Michael James Skaggs, 16, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Findlay, October 16, 2009, to Kasey Hutchinson and Dustin Skaggs. Carson is survived by his mother, Kasey Hutchinson; father, Dustin Skaggs; brother, Aaron Greeno; and sister, Willow Deal, all of Findlay. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Christy (Donnie) McFadden of Findlay and Micah (Jennifer) Hutchinson of Michigan; maternal great-grandmother, Dixie Spence of Fostoria; paternal grandmother, Leslie Deal of Findlay; uncle, Micah Hutchinson Jr. of Michigan; aunt, Desiree McFadden of Findlay; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carson was a sophomore at Findlay High School, where he was an A/B student who was active in sports, playing football and was a member of the wrestling team. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Carson was a wonderful kid with the biggest heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a member of Cedar Creek Church.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Memorial service for Carson will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Chris Baney officiating.

Carson was a good friend he would always cheer me up when I was up to bat for our coldren-crates-baseball team and he nicknamed me Ben and he got the whole team cheering me up
