Michael M. Mock

Michael M. Mock, 74, of Findlay, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side.

He was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Fremont, the son of Joseph L. and Vivian M. (Wilkins) Mock. He married Diana (Swartz) Mock on Aug. 6, 1967, and she survives in Findlay.

Michael is also survived by his sons, Michael (Julie) Mock II of Jefferson and Chad (Cindy) Mock of Findlay; daughter, Dawn (John) Collins of Fostoria; 16 grandchildren, Heidi Lowe, Michael Mock III, Jenna Bohn, Jake Mock, Casey Mock, Madison Ramsey, Allison Mock, Megan Mock, Emma Mock, Parker Mock, Jameson Mock, Brandon Bohn, Coty Bohn, Kendal Lilly, Shannon Warren, and Owen Collins; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Judy) Mock of Toledo; sister, JoAnn Moll of Helena; and daughter-in-law, Amy Mock of Arcadia.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; son, Adam Mock; son-in-law, Daniel Bohn; and brothers, Harry, Jack, and Joseph Mock.

Michael was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Arcadia, and its Men in Missions. He was employed at Allied Signal, later Honeywell in Fostoria, retiring in 1997. Michael enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader and collector of John Wayne memorabilia.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Michael's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Arcadia, with the Rev. Robert Ohrstedt officiating. Additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.
