Mary V. Frantz

Mary V. Frantz, 104, of Findlay, passed away at Taylor Place Assisted Living, Findlay, Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born in Fostoria, February 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles and Violet (Simkins) Frank. On May 7, 1947, she married Harry Frantz, who preceded her in death October 16, 1999.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Frantz, of Newcastle, California; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mary was formerly employed at the RCA Factory in Findlay as well as the Cigar Factory. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Findlay, was a homemaker, and had many good friends. She enjoyed golfing and had a hole-in-one. She enjoyed her many trips to Florida with her husband and water skiing on Lake Erie.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m.Thursday, October 16, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Vicar Jacinda Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, Findlay.

I had known Mary since I was a child. She was still very sharp up until the last few weeks. She was always very pleasant to visit and I will surely miss her smiling face.
