Mary Etzinger Obituary

Mary Jane Etzinger

Mary Jane Etzinger, 92, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her home. She was born December 15, 1932, in Wood County, Ohio, to the late Howard & Irene (Graver) Yates. She married William Etzinger October 30, 1953, in Wadsworth, he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, William (Leslie) Etzinger of Fostoria, Andrew Etzinger of Tiffin, Stacy (Jim) Rimar and Jane Reinhart, both of Fostoria; grandchildren, Katherine Trout, Samuel (Kristina) Trout, Joseph (Erin) Trout, Anthony (Natalie) Reinhart, Vincent (Hollie) Reinhart, Cole Etzinger, Caitlin Roca-Slane, Madeline Dodge, Abigail Beeson, and Brandon Etzinger; and blessed by many great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Anne Risner for all she has done for our mother and family.

Mary Jane is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Forest Yates; son-in-law, Michael Reinhart; and grandson, John Etzinger and Edward Reinhart.

Mary Jane retired from the Fostoria Post Office, where she worked as a mail carrier. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and was an avid Bridge player.

Private graveside services will be at Riverview Cemetery, West Millgrove. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life that will be from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Fostoria United Sportsmen.

Memorials can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
