Mary Brown Obituary

Mary Rose Brown

Mary Rose Brown, 96, of Forest, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Hardin County, to William Leon and Nina (Kauble) George.

Mary is survived by her children, Anita Gattshall of Forest, Sue Butler of Forest, Denny Brown of Mt. Blanchard, Jeff (Teresa) Brown of Forest, Rebecca Phelan of Forest, Rob (Debbie) Brown of Forest, and Stefan (Leslie) Brown of Crestline; 17 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and many nieces nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maynard Brown; son, Kim Brown; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and seven siblings, Jim, Don, Bernard, Paul, Ned, Bonnie, and JoAnn.

Mary was a graduate of Forest High School and was member of Kenton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was homemaker who enjoyed gardening, being with family, camping with her children in her early years, and sharing her faith.

Mary's memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, at Kenton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 13325 S. Main St., Kenton, Ohio, 43326. Private interment will be at Hueston Cemetery, Forest.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses at JW.org.
