Marjorie Canary Obituary
Marjorie L. Canary, 93, of Celina, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at Mercer Health, Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Celina, to Arlie and Laveda (Now) Baucher. She married Darlene D. Canary on March 17, 1951, and he preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1993.
Marjorie's survivors include her children, Susan (Rolland) Russell of Findlay and Randy (Sue) Canary of Celina; two sisters, Beatrice (Robert) Linn of Rockford and Lois (Howard) Snyder of Perrysburg; eight grandchildren, Trisha, Jason, Keith, Jodi, Jessica, Jacob, Lisa, and Jared; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Jean (Dave) Delzeith and Cynthia Canary; and sister, Doris (Gail) Grunden.
Marjorie was a 1948 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She retired from H & R Block in Celina after working for over 40 years as a tax preparer.
She was a member of Mount Carmel Church of God in Celina and Hopewell Grange in Celina. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning, and was a passionate homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Marjorie's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Rowe officiating. Additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 S. Main St., Celina, Ohio, 45822.
