Marilyn Gossman Obituary
Marilyn (Murlin) Gossman, 84, of Deshler, passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 5, 2023, at her residence.
She was born April 5, 1938, in Hoytville, to the late Richard and Francis (Sheely) Murlin. She met and fell in love with Fredderick Gossman and they were married Dec. 3, 1955, and he preceded her in death Dec. 7, 2008, just after their 53rd anniversary.
Marilyn provided babysitting in her home for several years and also worked at the former Gastown in Deshler for eight years. She enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick Gossman and Bob Gossman; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, John Murlin.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Gossman and Teresa Dunn; sister, Patty (Murlin); brother, Richard Murlin; and seven stepsiblings.
Marilyn's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with Chaplain Tim Rabara officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to charity of the donor's choice.
