Lynn R. LaRue

Lynn R. LaRue, 84, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic.

Lynn was born August 15, 1940, in Findlay to William and Ruth (Sherfy) LaRue, who preceded him in death. On August 19, 1961, he married Donna (Bach) LaRue, who survives.

Lynn was a graduate of Findlay High School. He dedicated many years to the Findlay Police Department as an officer and also worked as a forklift operator for Whirlpool. Lynn was an avid Ohio State football fan and loved to play the harmonica.

He is survived by his wife, Donna J. LaRue of Pandora; two daughters, Sandra LaRue and Ann Messer; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irma J Mansfield and K. Elaine McDonald; and one nephew, Billy Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Community Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton.
