Lynda R. Trytko
Lynda R. (Muggee) Trytko, 71, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home.
She was born March 9, 1952, to the late Morgan Mugge, and Beverly (Walt) Slipke, of Lake Okoboji, Iowa, who survives.
Lynda was born in
Spencer, Iowa, and grew up on her family farm near Royal, Iowa. In her youth, she was in 4-H and showed her father's Angus cattle at the Clay County Fair, something she greatly loved. She attended Clay Central Schools, graduating as Valedictorian of her class in 1970, and was also the Homecoming Queen. After high school, she attended University of Iowa and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. After three years with a perfect 4.0 GPA, she was admitted to the University of Iowa Medical School, however, med school was not for her.
Soon after, Lynda married her first husband, Richard Warren, and would later divorce. They made their home in
Houston, Texas, for 10 years. During that time, she entered Houston College of Pharmacy, graduating at the top of her class with a degree in Pharmacy in 1994.
Lynda married her second husband, James Trytko, on April 12, 2000. She and Jim were happily married for 23 years and resided in Findlay until the time of her death.
She loved long walks with her dog and bike rides through Findlay. She was a devout Catholic, living across the street from her beloved parish, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish. She attended Masses regularly and was a member of both the Guadalupe Society and Guadalupe Choir for many years. She was fortunate to meet many wonderful friends through the church.
Lynda and Jim made many road trips back to Lake Okoboji, Iowa, to visit family and to attend the Clay County Fair each fall. She was so fortunate to have a devoted husband and friends that cared for her until the end.
Lynda is survived by her parents; loving husband, James; brothers, John Mugge of
Spencer, Iowa, Jay (Barb) Mugge of Arnolds, Iowa, and Karl Mugge of Mesa, Arizona; sister, Ann Mugge of Lake Okoboji, Iowa; stepson, Jeff (Dawne) Trytko of Findlay; stepdaughter, Robbin (Rick) Pollard; stepgrandchildren, Sierra Eady, Christopher Duke Lemons, Lucas Lemons, Anthony Lemons, Spencer Trytko, Tasha Trytko, and Brendan Trytko; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Lynda was also preceded in death by three stepgrandchildren, Amber Marie Deal, Cherlyn Trytko, and Alexis Cheyanne Lemons.
Lynda will be dearly missed by all. May she rest in peace with the Lord, her pet cattle, and her beloved dog, Heidi, and kitty, Felix.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, with a rosary service being at 6:30 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay.
