Louise Collins Obituary
Louise E. Collins, 90, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at her home. She was born August 4, 1934, in Espanola, Ontario, Canada, to George & Annette (Bois) Bourcier. She married Francis "Pat" Collins September 19, 1953, in Espanola, Ontario. He passed away March 29, 1983.
Louise is survived by daughters, Jocelyn Bisson of Kansas and Helen (Gary) Bateson of Clyde; son, Robert (Christine) Collins of Bloomdale; grandchildren, Roger, Micheline, Dannielle, Kristoffer, Patrick, Nick, Jeff, Mark, and Alysia; great-grandchildren, Maranda, Gabrielle, Savannah, Jocelyn, Abigail, Angelo, Cruz, Reyna, Cyler, Parker, Brailee, Gracie, Christian, and Trenity.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Louis Collins; brothers, Real, Raymond, Roger, and Louis; and sisters, Frances, Monica, Pauline, and Suzanne.
Louise worked as a housekeeper. She was a member of All Saints Church in New Riegel, Fostoria Moose Lodge, and Fostoria American Legion. Louise enjoyed reading, knitting, bowling, and visiting casinos.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at All Saints Church in New Riegel, with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Cemetery, Fostoria. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, All Saints Church or Bridge Hospice.
