Linda Treece Obituary

Linda Sue Treece

Linda Sue Treece, 82, of Findlay, passed away at The Heritage Friday, September 19, 2025. She was born in Findlay, August 5, 1943, the daughter of Alvin and Vivian (Wolf) Gibson. On June 24, 1961, she married Bud Nelson Treece, who survives in Findlay.

Survivors include her sons, Sean (Denise) Treece of Carey and William (Susan) Treece of Findlay; a daughter, Teresa (Todd) Smith of Van Buren; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Jeffrey A. Treece; and a brother, James Gibson.

Linda was a member of the former New Creation Church of Findlay. She was a homemaker and was in Silver Eagle Band with her husband. She enjoyed painting, was very artistic, and enjoyed her vacations to Anna Maria Island, Florida. She was also a member of the Findlay Arts League.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral services will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Shane Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay.

Memorial contribu-tions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association.
