L. Flugga Obituary
L. Marlene Flugga, 77, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born Aug. 30, 1946, in Findlay, to Lewis Vining and Dortha (Litzenberg) Vining Smith. She married Charles E. Flugga Sr. on Feb. 1, 1980, and he preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1997.
She is survived by her children, Rodney (Penny) Smith, Charles (Brittany) Flugga Jr., Robin (Roger) Foulke, William Flugga, Robert Flugga, James (Nancy) Wilcox, Bonnie (Kevin) McDowell, Mary (Pat Jutte) Wreede, Judy (Mike) May, and Debra Flugga; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Janet Baker, Sharon Vining, Goldie Vining, Tammy Kanoor, and Sally Leeper.
Marlene was preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Roger Flugga; grandson, Joe Flugga; great-grandson, Chase Clark; brothers, Logan Vining and Gladwin Smith; and sisters, Patricia Coleman and Loveda Hamlin.
She retired from Blanchard Valley Hospital in the food service department and dedicated her life to raising her granddaughter, Ashley Flugga.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, until the time of Marlene's funeral at 2 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the funeral home.
