Kevin Koehler Obituary
Kevin D. Koehler, 65, of Columbus, and formerly of Upper Sandusky, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home in Columbus.
Kevin was born July 19, 1959, in Upper Sandusky, to Wayne and Marjorie (Reiter) Koehler, who reside in Upper Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Koehler.
He was a 1977 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School where he played drums in the band, played football his junior and senior year, and also helped with high school basketball as a statistician. During his younger years in school he was active with the "Champion Workers" 4-H club.
Kevin continued his education at The Ohio State University graduating with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. After graduating, he worked for many years at Carlton's Auto Parts in Upper Sandusky, and then worked as an arborist for Ahlum & Arbor Tree Preservation in Columbus.
Kevin was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he was confirmed and attended Sunday School.
Graveside services for family and friends of Kevin Koehler will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
Memorials may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church, or Wyandot Cares, and can be sent to Lucas Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.

Very sorry to hear this. I had the pleasure of working with Kevin. I will miss his dry sense of humor and his willingness to help anyone, whether it be with his mechanical knowledge or his vast assortment of tools. I will think of him every Wednesday when the tornado sirens go off at noon. It was at this time that he always proclaimed "Sharknado"
