Kathy Elling Obituary
Kathy Irene Karns Elling, 72, of Findlay, left this world Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, to move into a better one.
She was born Nov. 1, 1951, in Findlay, to Raymond and Lois Karns. Kathy graduated from Findlay High School in 1970.
Kathy is survived by two wonderful and loving children Ashley L. (Wes) Allen of Bradner and Bryan M. (Nikki Boss) Elling of Toledo; two amazing and talented grandchildren, Cash and Roxie Allen; only sister, Vicki (Tom) Gierke of Findlay; two nephews, Tom (Tonya) Gierke, Jr. and Michael Gierke, both of Findlay; two great-nephews, Marcus (Edie) Gierke of Findlay and Jeffrey (Kattie Iwanski) Gierke of Hampton, Virginia; two uncles, Richard Powers of Marion and Phillip Powers of Woodland Texas; two aunts, Marylyn Solt of Findlay and Sara Karns of South Carolina; and numerous cousins.
Kathy loved her family with her whole heart and soul as they were always her whole life.
Kathy chose to be cremated with no services.
If you would like to honor her life, you can donate to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) www.aspca.org or World Wildlife Fund (WWF) www.worldwildlife.org as she was an animal lover and was a lifetime member of both organizations.
