Justin Alan Benard

Justin Alan Benard, 37, of Lima, Ohio, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at St. Rita's Hospital.

He was born Oct. 21, 1985, to Kimberley Benard of Bluffton and she survives.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Rae Walton (Jarvis); and grandfather, Ronald Grant Walton.

He is also survived by his three daughters, Kyla Wrenn, 14, of Lima, Cadence Benard, 13, of Findlay, and Autumn Benard, 5, of Lima; long-time girlfriend, Candace Watson of Lima; sisters, Alyssa Benard and Holly Benard, both of Findlay; uncles, Victor Benard of Forest and Rodney Walton and Brent Walton, both of Hamilton; niece, Dahlia Cramer; and nephew, Adam Cramer of Findlay.

Justin was a member of the Class of 2004 at Fostoria High School. He played softball for 30 years and was involved in many leagues and tournaments. He enjoyed cars, riding dirt bikes, motorcycles, fishing, and going to the shooting range. His biggest joy in life was his family, especially his daughters. He was employed for John P. Timmerman Co. since 2019 where he found a second family. Justin was an organ donor and will continue to live on through the lives he saved. He was a hero to his family and in turn was a hero in death. We love you Justin Alan Benard, rest easy in paradise.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services with Brent Walton, his uncle, officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to his daughters' fund through Superior Federal Credit Union.
