Julia Marshall Obituary

Julia Ann Marshall

Julia Ann (Rose) Marshall passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at her home in Cleveland, six weeks shy of her 93rd birthday.

She was married to Marion Marshall for 66 years when he died in 2022.

Julia is survived by her son, William; daughter-in-law, Patricia; grandsons, James and John; granddaughter-in-law, Ljubinka; great-granddaughter, Rosalind; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Julia worked as a registered nurse, primarily in surgery. She volunteered at the library and hospice in Findlay. After moving to Cleveland, she enjoyed watching her grandsons play soccer, baseball, football, and fencing. Julia continued her volunteer work at Lakewood Hospital and as a docent at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Julia and Marion enjoyed travel, Cleveland Indians baseball, Ohio State sports, and spending time with family, especially at the holidays.

The family thanks Hospice of the Western Reserve for their kind care.

A celebration of Julia's life will be at a later date.

You have our condolences from the Shirley Linhart family. Julia and Shirley worked together at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay for over 3 decades. They had kept in touch throughout all the years of retirement, just speaking together on the phone less than a month ago.
We wish you all peace and know that we remember your beautiful mother well.
