Joseph Franck Obituary
Joseph Edward "Joe" Franck, 73, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Oct. 27, 1950, in Columbus, the son of Robert Edward Franck and Mary Kathrine (McKenna) Franck, who preceded him in death.
He married Julie Ann (Williams) Franck on Oct. 23, 1991, in Jackson Center, and she survives. He is also survived by four children, Amy (Rhandy) Robinson, Eric (Kelly) Kauffman, Jason (Irene) Franck, and Paula (Todd) Hollinger; eight grandchildren, Dylan (Tatum Reprogle) Robinson, Devin (Maya Maxwell) Robinson, Evan Kauffman, Kara (Chloe Crabtree) Kauffman, Brice Kauffman, Lefin Pharis, Clayton Hollinger, and Nora Hollinger; sister, Kathie (Dr. Henry) Roenigk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe worked at Siemen's in Bellefontaine as a foreman for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, doing yard work, and fishing, especially at Rainbow Lake with his family. Joe loved coaching his kids' youth teams, attending his grandkid's sporting events, and hosting Ohio State Buckeyes game watching parties.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, until the time of Joe's memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Pastor April Phillips will officiate. The family requests that guests in attendance wear casual or Ohio State Buckeyes attire.
