Johnny Grine Obituary

Johnny E. Grine

Johnny Eugene Grine, 60, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born July 21, 1965, in Fostoria, to James E. Grine and Barbara L. (Davidson) Wolf.

Johnny was a graduate of Findlay High School and attended Findlay Bible Church, where he faithfully served as a past usher. He was also a member of Findlay Moose Lodge No. 698.

For several years, Johnny was employed at Nissen Brake, where he cherished the friendships he made with his coworkers.

He loved playing his guitar and found comfort and expression through music. He enjoyed bird watching, gaming on his PS5, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, Johnny cherished time spent with those he loved, creating memories that will be treasured by family and friends.

Johnny is survived by his brothers and sisters, Joseph (Shryl) Grine, David (Teresa) Grine, James Lee Smith, Catherine (Ernie) Webb, and Jamie Dull along with several nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved twin sister, Lynn Grine; and his maternal grandparents, Jesse and Cleora Davidson.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Jacobus, the in-house chaplain, and the staff of Bridge Hospice Care Center for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Johnny in his final days.

In keeping with Johnny's wishes, there will be no formal services. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Wharton Cemetery, Lincoln Road (Ohio State Route 293).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, Ohio (419-422-1500).
