Joanne Ella Fennell

Joanne Ella Fennell, 89, of Findlay, passed away at The Sunrise of Findlay Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024. She was born in Ironton Aug. 16, 1935, the daughter of the late Kirker and Marjorie (Brubaker) Adams. On Oct. 23, 1954, she married Kenneth Fennell, who preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1982.

Survivors include her sons, Richard (Michelle) Fennell of Melbourne, Florida and Kirker (Brenda) Fennell of Findlay; her daughter, Angela Fennell of Toledo; seven grandchildren including Courtney Fennell who was loving and caring to her; and 14 great-grandchildren; and her twin brother, Joseph Adams of West Virginia also survives her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; a daughter, Cheryl Fennell; a brother, Robert Adams; and a sister, Patricia Bailey.

Joanne was in patient accounting at Blanchard Valley Hospital for 34 years and was a volunteer in the hospital auxiliary. She was also a long-time member of Parkview Christian Church of Findlay and enjoyed needlepoint and word puzzles.

Visitation for Joanne will be from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at the funeral home, with Pastor Joel Johnson officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Highland Memory Gardens, South Point, Ohio.
