Joann Fell Obituary
Joann L. Fell, 93, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at her home.
She was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Deshler, to Roy and Macey (Bergman) Beck. She married Donald E. Fell on Feb. 19, 1956, in Deshler, and he passed away March 29, 2006.
Joann is survived by a daughter, Shelly Fell; grandchildren, Craig Fell and Megan, Michael, Cory, and Catharine Huth; and great-grandchildren, Kenton, Harper, Grace, Aurora, Audrey, Evan, Bella, and Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ronald E. Fell; and sister, Minnie Hermon.
Joann retired as a teacher at Bettsville Schools where she taught home economics. She was a member of Amsden United Methodist Church. Joann graduated from McComb High School and received her teaching degree from Bluffton College. Joann was an avid gardener and seamstress. She enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and getting together with her classmates.
Joann's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. James Sharrett officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Amsden United Methodist Church.
