Jerry Leon Williamson

Jerry Leon Williamson, 78, of Findlay, passed away at his home Thursday, June 30, 2022, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Bluffton, Ohio on May 23, 1944, to the late Donald C. and Ethel (Wilson) Williamson. He married Phyllis Jean Rickle on July 28, 1963, and she survives; Barbara Russo on August 11, 1989 and she also survives; and Nancy Wilbert on February 7, 1998, and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2011.

He is survived by two children, Kevin (Patti) Williamson of Berea and Sherry (Keith) Wright of Findlay; three stepdaughters, Erica Russo, Anna (John Fisher) Russo, and Stephanie (Adam) Legaski; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; brothers, Alfred (Chris) Williamson and Roger (Dee) Williamson; and sister, Phyllis Schmiedebusch.

Jerry retired from Findlay Police Department. He volunteered for Hospice and at The Jones Mansion, he was a master gardener and prior to his diagnosis he spent many hours with the re-start efforts of the Findlay Grace Brethren Church.

A reception in memory of Jerry will take place at The Jones Mansion, 313 East Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Memorials can be directed to The Jones Mansion and online condolences can be shared by visiting coldrencrates.com. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
