Jerry Lee Waldman Sr.

The family of Jerry Lee Waldman Sr. is deeply saddened to announce his passing Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was born Feb. 4, 1941, in Leipsic.

Surviving is the love of his life, Rose Waldman, whom he married 64 years ago May 6, 1962. They were blessed with four children who survive, Denice Judah (Hussein), Jerry Waldman Jr. (Rhonda), Alicia Cavins and Kami Kosch (Chris). Also surviving are grandchildren, Victoria Verbytskyy (Kai), Ariel Eleftheriou (Nick), Waleed Judah, Ibrahim Judah, Jerry Waldman III (Michaela), Kamryn Kosch; and great-grandson, Barrett Waldman. His sister, Donna Breidenbach, also survives.

Jerry touched the hearts of everyone with a big smile and never met a stranger. In his spare time, he was a talented artist who enjoyed creating beautiful pencil drawings, baking delicious apple dumplings and was a huge history buff. Above all, his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, whom he poured every ounce of joy into. He retired from Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria in 1992, blessing him with nearly 35 years of retirement with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dorothy Waldman; brother, George Waldman; sister, Linda Waldman; brother-in-law, Lawrence Breidenbach; and son-in-law, Bryan Cavins.

Friends and family may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, with funeral to follow at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, with one hour visitation before, all at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial to follow at Knollcrest Cemetery.
