Jerad L. Geiger

Jerad Lee "Jerry" Geiger, 67, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 25, 2023, after a year-long battle with cancer.

He was born June 19, 1955, in Bluffton, to Myron and Lou (Moser) Geiger.

Jerry graduated from Hardin Northern High School in 1973. He spent much of his life flipping houses, performing detailed craftsmanship work for family and friends, working on cars, and helping others, especially those in need. He lived life to the beat of his own drum and found joy in utilizing his creativity and cleverness to solve problems for himself and others.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Gaylene (David) Schütz, Randal (Cindy) Geiger, and Tamara (Don) Hull; eight nephews; one niece; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Zachary Schütz; and great-nephew, Caiden Toney-Schütz.

His family wishes to thank the friends who checked on Jerry through the years and watched over his place during his time in the hospital, as well as Bridge Hospice for their care and support.

His wishes were to be buried next to his nephew.

Jerry's graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Dola Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Passet officiating.
